A: If your current web hosting provider can no longer match the needs of your site, or when you go through frequent downtime, or if you have to wait for hours for the customer care staff to respond back to you, it might be a clever idea to switch your hosting provider, i.e. to migrate all the files for your web sites along with your databases from your current provider to your future provider. At SynNetHost, we are aware that this can be difficult and time–consuming. Because of this, we’ll perform all that for you at no cost!Our highly capable technical team representatives will transfer your website content from your current provider to us. Our technicians have got extensive experience migrating websites and are able to take care of anything – from a conventional WordPress weblog or Joomla^™ CMS–based web site, to a very elaborate, custom–made web application.

A: While we cannot give you a precise time frame, since there are a lot of factors, including the size of the files and databases, the location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your web site and the present workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will give our best to move your web site within 48 hours, and in some cases – within 24 hours (in case the content is not very large).

A: We don’t gather any sensitive data. We will need, though, the login information for your present hosting account along with the name of the site that you want to migrate.

A: Client privacy is among our paramount concerns – this is why, both our payment page and our Control Panel login page are secured with enterprise–grade Secure Sockets Layer certificates. We employ safety measures, which include, but are not limited to: physical, electronic and administrative procedures to protect the information that we gather online. And we’ve got a detailed and rigorous Privacy Policy, which describes the types of information that we gather.

A: Nah. Your site will remain visible online during the migration. Once everything is done on our end, we’ll let you know so that you can examine it and check for any problems. If everything’s OK, all you will need to do is change your domain’s DNS resource records.

A: Nope. Apart from your login details for the Control Panel, we will not need anything. We’ll never touch base with your hosting provider. They won’t know anything about the migration either.

A: We support all Linux–driven web hosting platforms. Generally, if we can acquire access to your Control Panel, we’ll be able to transfer your web site.The only platforms that we do not support are closed–source web site management platforms like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
